Invictus is excited to host Prom for our students this evening from 6pm to 8pm. Prom's theme this year is "Red Carpet" and we expect fun, food, dancing, and camaraderie as students participate in this milestone on their high school journey. Theme: Red Carpet Date: 9 May 2025 Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Location: CSU Mather Mansion, 2605 Euclid Ave. We can't wait to see our stars come out tonight!

On April 17, Invictus High students will pay a visit to West Virginia State University to get a sneak-peek at college life -- complete with a tour, the opportunity to ask questions of university staff, mingle with WVSU students, and dine on campus to generate excitement about the variety of post-secondary opportunities available to students when they complete their high school journey with IHSS! We can’t wait to share our students’ story of this exciting trip to explore HBCU life and continue conversations around their life and career goals.

On Thursday, March 27, Invictus High School System will host its annual Invictus High Day at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, complete with the Court of Dreams experience! Our students and staff come out for the Court of Dreams from 1:30-3:00 pm - packed with activities, time on court for games, staff vs. student scrimmage, and prizes - it's never a bad time! In the evening, starting at 7:00 pm, staff and students will gather to attend the Cavs vs. Spurs game to represent the school. Our school even gets a shoutout to the school before the game. Invictus wishes our students, staff, faculty, and families a restful spring break, from Monday, 17 March to Friday, 21 March. During this week, all school programming, functions, offices, buildings, and instruction are closed. We hope that this time restores our community to close our Spring 2025 strong!

First Friday - 7 March 2025 Invictus high school will be closed on Friday 7 March 2025 for First Friday - where the school closes on the first Friday of each month to allow a wellness and mindfulness day for our students, faculty, and staff. We invite our greater community to participate with mindfulness practices or a restorative activity that engages and recharges us all.

In the next few days, the Invictus High School System is launching a new and improved website (app to follow!) that aims to improve the user experience for our students and families! Open House/Title I Night reschedule: Due to inclement weather on Thursday, 6 February, Invictus' Open House/Progress Report/Title I Night was cancelled pending a reschedule. The date for the reschedule is tentatively set for Thursday, 13 Feb. 2025 - we can't wait to see you there! First Friday @ IHSS: February's First Friday is 7 Feb., 2025. Our school system will be closed to allow our faculty, staff, students, and families to focus on their mental well-being over a long weekend to kick off the month. We wish everyone a restorative First Friday, and we'll see you back on Monday!
