Roseanne Perry

Hello,

My name is Roseanna Perry, and I am an English teacher at Invictus High School. This is my first year at Invictus and my third year teaching overall. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Education from Kent State University in 2012. I love reading and writing because they are wonderful ways to escape day to day life and enter a different world. I chose to teach English because many have not had the opportunities I have to enjoy reading or writing. I love showing students that they can enjoy reading and writing even if they have yet to find the book or topic for them. I love teaching at Invictus, where our students show us everyday that they are undefeated and will continue to be so despite the many obstacles in their lives.

In my free time I play many sports including softball, roller derby, and bowling. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the movies or exploring the areas around us . Most of all I enjoy being committed to the students in our school!
