Summer Food Service Program

This summer ODE is sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program. This great program helps students not only in Cleveland, Ohio but all across the state find access to free nutritious meals while most schools are closed for the summer.

ODE says "It's easy to participate and no sign up is required. Simply call 1-866-3-Hungry or vist education.ohio.gov/KidsEat for meal times and locations."

The program is available for children under the ages of 18 and students under the age of 21 (with an IEP).

“Giving children access to a healthy meal during the summer months is very important,” said Dr. Lonny J. Rivera, interim superintendent of public instruction. “The Summer Food Service Program brings communities together in making sure children have the nourishment they need to remain healthy.”
